St. Patrick's Day at St. Alban's

Celebrate with us as we mark St. Patrick's Day by hosting an Irish Night event at St. Alban's!

We’re excited to present an “Irish Night” at St. Alban’s as we mark the occasion of St. Patrick’s Day in March. Our event will take place on the evening of Saturday March 14th (close to St. Paddy’s on the 17th!) starting at 7pm. And, to be sure, we have a grand time planned for you all…

☘ A Concert of Irish Music ☘

Presented by Adam McCrory, our Assistant for Parish Life and member of the St. Alban’s Choir, as well as our resident Irishman! Adam and guests will perform classical Irish songs, and many of the most famous traditional Irish ballads.

  • Doors open at 7pm when an Irish harper will perform prelude music as the audience arrives.

  • Concert begins at 7.30pm, will last about an hour, and will feature Intermission.

  • Musicians include Mr. McCrory, plus a guest mezzo-soprano, pianist, and our special guest Irish harp player.

  • Admission is based on a suggested donation of $25, which includes a drink ticket (see below…!)

☘ Catered Reception with Nibbles and Drinks ☘

  • Join us after the concert for some delicious, chef-prepared finger food, and the chance for fellowship and community among the audience, parishioners, and members of the local community.

  • Our last concert was well-attended and folks had a great time mingling on our lovely, large outdoor patio space.

☘ Irish Beer Bar! ☘

  • Professional bartenders will be serving up Ireland’s most famous beer, Guinness, plus a lighter Irish beer named Harp Lager.

  • O’Douls non-alcoholic beer, as well as staples like lemonade, iced tea, and water will be available.

  • Wine will also be served for those who aren’t really beer drinkers.

  • One free drink ticket with your concert admission, then $10 per beer after that.

☘☘ Come and have a blast with us at this new, unique event where all are welcome…

…especially if you love the Irish ☘☘
