Celebrating our New Bishop with the Westside Deanery

We are excited to share this festive event with our parish and with our siblings in neighboring parishes across the Westside Deanery. St. Alban's is honored to host the eighth Bishop of Los Angeles, the Right Reverend Dr. Antonio Gallardo Lucena, who will visit our church for an evening of worship and celebration. Be welcome on October 10th at 4.00pm when we begin with a Choral Evensong, presented by the Choir of St. Alban's, under the leadership of Music Director and Organist, Dr. Ray W. Urwin. This intimate, music-forward service is a form of worship unique to the Anglican tradition, offering a contemplative environment in which to give glory to God.

Following this service, the Bishop will lead a discussion where attendees may ask questions, and where the Bishop will offer his own questions to the people of Deanery 3 and the Westside parishes. We will offer a tour of the St. Alban's campus for Bishop Gallardo and anyone else who would like to see how we are growing and using our space.

We conclude with a catered reception on our patio and the chance for fellowship among our guests from the Westside. The reception will include food, drinks, and live music, plus chances to meet and take pictures with Bishop Gallardo. Children are welcome at this event and can enjoy kids activities as well as our playground.

Complimentary valet parking will be available on site, but since spots are limited, we encourage you to arrive early. Additional parking will be available just across the street at UCLA Lot 2 for $15.
