Lenten Evensong with the St. Alban's Choir

On the evening of Sunday March 8th at 6pm, the Choir of St. Alban’s will offer Choral Evensong, one of the most beautiful and distinctive traditions of Anglican worship. Rooted in the daily prayer of the Church and shaped by centuries of musical devotion, Evensong weaves together scripture, psalms, prayers, and choral music in a service of reflection at the close of the day.

The choir sings much of the liturgy on behalf of the gathered community, offering music not as performance but as prayer. During this service we will also commission our wardens and vestry for the coming year, praying for their wisdom and faithfulness as they share in the leadership of our parish.
